Review of Bullet Boy (2004) by Stina H — 02 Aug 2008
One of if not the most realistic films about life growing up as a black boy in London. Peer pressure, the idea of 'rep' forcing one into violence, sh*tty employment propects for uneducated, concrete jungle etc.
Loses point for basically copying the plot to Carlito's way but setting it in the UK, (they even killed him at a train station for f*cks sake) but that does'nt mean u should avoid. In fact, I would encourage schools to show this film to the kids becuase it holds a good message.
Good acting, nice pacing, raw violence and a not so happy ending, like I said, realistic. Check it out........blud.
