Review of Bullet Ballet (1998) by Ttt C — 24 Jul 2009
A bleak, black-and-white psychological thriller that sees director Tsukamoto playing an everyman chasing a particular model of a gun in an act of suicide, delusion, or possibly self-redemption. Sumptuous compositions and an intentionally grating industrial score make this one oddly hypnotic.
