Review of Brotherhood (2016) by Richard S — 26 Jun 2018
Noel Clarke finishes his hood trilogy with Brotherhood which finds former street hood and gangster Sam trying to protect his family from someone in his past who is out for revenge. The first 2 films were dark, gritty looks at life as a gangster on the streets of London, the trilogy ends with a familiar story we have seen before and unfortunately this one is bundled with some clunky dialogue and almost pantomime-esque villains.
Despite this I still found myself enjoying the film even though it didn't live up to the first 2 movies.
