An enjoyable and entertaining film with a great message: "You can be anything to want to be--you just gotta go out and become it.".
That said, it's not a perfect movie by any means. All conflict is dealt with far too easily, and the love subplot, although it works for most of the film, becomes hokey on a dime's turn. But then again, no woman can resist the Eastwood.
Despite all this film's obvious flaws, I still really enjoyed it. The cast gets along well together, and it's a great comparison to old Westerns.
