Review of Broken Flowers (2005) by Quentin N — 01 Feb 2009
A brilliant film from the wonderfully unique vision of Jim Jarmusch. Jarmusch weaves a delicate and heartbreaking story of Don Johnston, a former ladies man that realizes the mistakes of his life when he is forced to visit all of his former girlfriends to see if they are the mother of his apparent son.
Bill Murray gives an excellent performance. The writing, acting, and directing, turns this into a terrific character study of a man who thought he didn't need anyone, but discovered he was wrong.
