Hard to watch, and not for the faint of heart. However, this movie elicits genuine emotion, is beautifully shot and superbly acted. For those that label it as disrespectful and exploitive of women, you REALLY missed the point of this movie.
If anything, it was a superlative example of the strength of a determined woman in a time where everything was against her. One of the best movies I've seen in years, and an all time classic Western.
