I enjoyed the movie. Fanny and John's love story is pure and innocent. Abbie Cornish is delightful and she's so beautiful, I loved her character. I don't understand why she haven't got an Oscar nomination.This is outrageous!
Fanny's reaction to John's death made me cry...it's so sad they loved each other and death torn them apart.Also the butterfly scene was amazing and so sweet... Definitely Jane Campion's one of the best films along with The Piano.
