Review of Boys Don't Cry (2000) by Mitchell E — 12 Oct 2008
These are the kind of films that make me want to be a film maker. For a director to have so much power over an audience's emotions is astonishing to me and this film is one of those powerful films.
I was enthralled by every second of it. The story was astonishing and the performances where career defining. Who knew when she did Next Karate Kid that Hilary Swank would be the oscar winning leading lady that she is today.
All I can say is that this should be required viewing for any self respecting American.
