Review of Bowling for Columbine (2002) by Antonio S — 19 Jul 2009
Now, this is a very honest review of this film because of my great dislike for Michael Moore. Before viewing, I expected Moore's single message to be: "Guns are the problem" which I highly disagree with and think of as just an excuse.
But I was so glad I finally watched this and kept an open mind about what Moore had to say because it turns out that we share the same viewpoint on the matter. He brilliantly bashes the whole "Oh its because of violent movies/games/television/music that we have so much gun violence in our country" argument in so many innumerable ways, and instead shows how it is all because we have a culture conditioned by fear.
Incredibly thought-provoking and incendiary, this is definitely my favorite documentary of all time.
