Review of Born in China (2016) by Abtin P — 20 Apr 2017
Beautiful landscapes and lovable creatures saturate this film with positive imagery. Where the movie suffers, regrettably, is in its presentation of some of the more visceral and realistic depictions of nature.
It's a kids' flick, for sure, but danger and trauma lurk behind the Asian frontier, and Born in China doesn't let you forget it. Overall still highly recommended for lovers of baby wildlife.
