Review of Blue Ruin (2014) by Chris G — 01 May 2014

"Damn," I half exhale, half yell, to no one but myself as the credits roll. I've honestly never felt that emotion before. The conclusion, and the brilliant catharsis was almost euphoric to a cinephile like myself.

I stared blankly at the credits for minutes just thinking. I was so incredibly wowed from opening frame to closing frame. The force of the narrative was powerful and I find it hard to believe that this film is not on more peoples' radars.

I can't say enough about this masterpiece, so my review ends here.
