Review of BloodRayne (2005) by Greg P — 15 Nov 2008

Having just seen this I had to do a review to counter all the bad comments this has had. Although I`ll admit that it isn`t the best movie in the world it is entertaining and has a good cast list, including the talented Ben Kindsley and the beautiful Michelle Rodrigues.

Kristinna Loken does a good job as Rayne, although she does have a tough job of it. The plot is a little thin in places but the story moves along nicely as we watch Rayne come into her vampire abilities (she is half vampire and half human) and eventually teaming up with Brimstone, a secret society policing vampires.

Some lovely filming in this makes it worth the watch alone, whilst the fight scenes towards the end are well done. I personally think this has been slated for now reason. Ok, so it`s not the greatest adaption from game to movie screen but it is enetertaining.

Well worth the £5 I paid for it on the 2 for £10 offer online.
