Review of Blindspotting (2018) by Greg R — 10 Aug 2018
One of my favorite movies of 2018. I'm kind of impressed at how it was able to give so much in just an hour and a half long movie whereas many films that try to do something similar end up lasting around 2 1/2.
Blindspotting is an impressive, relevant film about the realistic depiction of a certain issue in Oakland. The script for this film apparently took almost a decade to write but it came out at a time where I think this really needs to be addressed.
Blindspotting is an eye-opening film about police brutality, friendship, relationships, race, and overall, it is just as timely as it is impactful.
