Not sure why this movie got panned. I really enjoyed it. I was searching for movies to watch. Watched it because of Hemsworth. I was unaware that it was a Mann film. He is one of my favorite directors.
I believe that some movie goers and critics are impatient with a thoughtful pace. I love that Mann has the authority not to compromise.
