Review of Black Nativity (2013) by Tom B — 28 Nov 2013
This was one of the best Holiday movies I've seen in a long time. The adaptation of Langston Hughes' play was skillfully brought to film, combining an excellent script, fantastic cast and sensational directing.
I've read some indifferent critic reviews from non-diverse parts of the country and am disappointed that they do not understand the Black American experience well enough to appreciate the nuances of this film.
If you haven't seen Black Nativity, the movie, go and go soon.
