Review of Bill Hicks: Revelations (1993) by Jim F — 22 Dec 2012
Good live performance. I was happy to actually see him do the bit about people in marketing/advertizing, telling them to kill themselves. For years this was sampled on a Fila Brazillia album and I always had a feeling it was him due to his cult status as an American stand up comic.
I also enjoyed the kid running around on the aeroplane bit and what now appears to be his greatest and most famous part of his act, sticking up for Acid with the story we've all heard about the man who thought he could fly so he threw himself of a building.
Hick's response to that is genius.
