Dark & gripping revenge tale which largely takes the form of torture porn. Manages to shake genre conventions with its uniquely Israeli qualities, and with a current of doubt that pervades the proceedings.
Imagine little children meets hard candy, and you're pretty close - considering both are great, I mean that as a compliment.
