Review of Berlin: Symphony of a Great City (1927) by Benedikt W — 17 Oct 2007
Just excellent; a day in the live of a City. and since we otherwise don't get much of a study-glimpse into this essential time of Modernity that should already holds all the ingredients of the cities we now life in, this movie is a must for anyone with an interest in history or cultural studies.
Also a must for its inventive visuals and expressionist shots: e.g. the beginning is just brilliant.
