Review of Berlin: Symphony of a Great City (1927) by Dave B — 06 Sep 2008
This is a fascinating depiction of ordinary life on an ordinary day in the Berlin of 1927. Only a few of the scenes depict famous locations or famous people, most of them depict the ordinary 'everyman.
' There is no dialogue, but the saga of a busy, bustling city is riveting. Very well done, a fascinating historical portrait.
