Epic in every sense the word can mean this is by far the greatest adaptation of Beowulf. It's animation is one of the best ever made, and when first watching the film you might even believe it is live-action.
The movie is very action packed and original in the way it shows the monsters Beowulf fights. The movie is like everything you want from a video game, but in movie form.
