Another great performance from the ever evolving Lucas Hedges. As heavy as âBeautiful Boyâ? with a heartbreaking resonance as Timothee Chalamet. Julia Roberts almost steals the movie and itâ(TM)s great to see her back in form. In the age of a-hole trump, the interracial marriage with Courtney B. Vance is NOT the paralyzing element in the movie. Itâ(TM)s just a sweet, wonderful aspect of the film.
My only question is why both âBeautiful Boyâ? and âBen is Backâ? are released during the holiday season. Exiting the theater,, the ticket taker asked if I enjoyed the movie. How could I say I did when both films are so devastating and emotional? However, theyâ(TM)re both good film fare.
