Review of Believe Me (2014) by Tvnewsguido — 26 Sep 2014
It's a funny movie but I'm not sure who would want to watch.
It is a harsh rebuke of showy modern Christians and the mega-church mission mentality. The folk they insult are exactly the audience movie makers need to come see it. They’re responsible for almost all box office success in the realm of faith-based cinema.
Non-Christians, who would find much to like in this “false profit-for-profit” tale, will likely avoid the film as just another “message movie.”.
I really had a good time watching.
