Review of Beauty and the Beast (1991) by Benjamin O — 08 Aug 2012
Finally a Disney princess that doesn't fall in love at first sight!
Bella is a clever, charming and sweet lady; Gaston could have been easily the hero in any other Disney movie, but this time is the ego-maniac antagonist, which is just wonderful.
Well written (the romance is finally believable), incredibly well crafted, unforgettable musical scenes and full of charming characters (maybe the prince at the end doesn't look that good?); this is far one of Disney's finest movies.
