This is a Netflix original movie with limited theater release. It follows a young boy named Agu who is recruited into being a boy soldier into a battalion led by Idris Elba. The acting was outstanding from start to finish and time flew by so quickly while you are immersed in this story of survival and redemption.

This film did not hold back the violence or realism of what happens during African countries who enter into a civil war. Do yourself a favor and watch a great film that will stick with you for some time.
