Review of Batman Forever (1995) by Hanif M — 27 Dec 2017
Val Kilmer's voice sound similar to Kevin Conroy not the tone but the voice itself, Robin is a strong bad ass character with strong motivations, Jim Carrey was playing himself & Two-Face's relationship with Bruce Wayne should've been explored more.
The flashbacks scenes of young Bruce walking in the funeral home with the Dark Blue Lighting Composition is my favorite set piece. Who can forget the deleted scene of Val Kilmer & The Giant Man Bat face to face with each other with their arms up like wings.
By no means is this a poorly directed film, much better than what its rep suggests.
