Review of Bataan (1943) by Bill T — 07 Apr 2012
Quite a gripping little war picture here, a remake of the well-intentioned but ultimately very boring "The Lost Patrol", Here, Robert Taylor leads the pack of mixed-bag soldiers to a helpless case, keeping a bridge destroyed while Jap snipers are picking them off, one by one.
This one is quite gritty, lots of startling violence and characters to keep this one humming along. I really liked it.
