Review of Basquiat (1996) by Mary M — 27 Oct 2007
This is a stunning adaptation of the life of Jean Michele Basquiat, a graffiti artist in the 1980's, whose friendship with Andy Warhol, heroin addiction, insane mother, and lost love with Gina Cardindale (Claire Forlani) make for a fascinating, albeit tragically heart shattering life.
David Bowie as Andy Warhol is a must see. Outstanding!!
