Review of Bart Got a Room (2008) by Charlene M — 03 May 2009
In my fourth year at the TJFF, I wanted to be entertained this year. This movie did just that. It made me laugh. Not only was the puns and quirkiness about this Jewish teenager attending his prom laugh out loud, but also the setting where the movie was filmed: Boca Ratan, Florida.
Picture senior citizen, flamingo type birds and cadillacs. William H. Macy was hilarious and played the perfect Jewish, divorced Husband/Father. His jewfro was definitely unmissable and was a character on its own.
A great movie pick once again!
