Review of Barney's Version (2010) by Parker J — 15 Sep 2011
Surprisingly powerful and original, moreso and moreso as the story extends. Giamatti, Pike and Hoffman's characters get ever more complex and compelling and even in its comedic moments, the film is more of a drama than the ads let on.
Barney Panofsky is one of the more interesting, refreshing and real protagonists to come along in a while. Definitely recommended.
