I actually enjoyed this as much as or more than Incredibles 2! It made me cry. How does Pixar know how to always touch the heart? If I was an actor that needed to cry, I would just watch this short film and then hand the tissues.
Great and unique story. I want to see it again! The sad thing is that all the negative reviews come from uncultured people that have no idea or desire to understand this culture which is a HUGE part of American culture now since baos are soooooo popular.
"I don't get it so I don't like it" means, "I don't care about it cuz it's not about me." I guess POC should say the same thing about white themed films then? This was truly one of Pixars best and I'm so glad I didn't even know about it until I saw it.
It was the best bonus to watching I2.
