Review of Bangkok Rush (2016) by Harcdore H — 02 Apr 2016
Comparing this movie to the current roster of $100 million Hollywood movies, and it comes up short, but taken on it's own merits this is a fun, low-budget, indie action flick which I thoroughly enjoyed.
The acting is good, and the sci-fi story keeps you thinking.
Although the music is rollicking, the sound dubbing is clearly a low budget affair.
Interesting choreography for the fights, with moments of brilliance, although this is not a martial arts genre movie.
It is a breath of fresh air to see someone doing something different, and if you can handle low-budget, and are looking for something quick and easy, then you should enjoy this.
If, on the other hand, you are looking for another awful generic ex-pat movie about foreigners falling in love with Thai prostitutes this movie is NOT for you.
