A very good story based on a very good book! I think the actresses all did a great job and it was fun to see a cast of so many women! It is remarkable to me that these characters are so aggressive in their dreams and there is a sky's the limit kind of mentality. Not so amazing unless you know the book it is based on was published in 1937!
This is also a great movie to help children see the realities of poverty back in the 1930's. It is based on a children's book so you should expect things to work out a bit too neatly.
