Review of Bad Lieutenant (1992) by Dan H — 13 Jun 2008
Amazing. Harvey Keitel solidifies his position as one of the greatest, most versatile, most dedicated actors of his day.
Like if Johnny from "Naked" was a cop in New York.
I love films like this, films where on character just tears and burns through life while the viewer clings desperately, terrified of falling off and becoming just another charred corpse in it's wake.
Fearless, honest, brutal and beautiful. A film of incredible power. This film will stay with you.
