Review of Baby Doll (1956) by Ben E — 17 Jun 2007
Excellent (and very dated) story of the fragility of young love fallen into youth-envious hands. Carroll Baker's slightly over the top performance gives the film the perfect amount of immaturity and stubborn inaffection to explain a 19-year old married girl who sucks her thumb and sleeps in a baby bed.
brilliant.
