Review of Baby Doll (1956) by Mathieu C — 23 Jul 2007
At one time the catholic church said that if you were to see this film then you would go to hell. The film received this reputation for its playful view on sexuality and the attraction middle aged men have for young girls.
The film is also extremely funny and features great performances by Carroll Baker, Karl Malden and Eli Wallach. Many controversial films attract attention because of their reputation, this one does but is at the same time a great film.
