Well it wasnt ever really an entertainer, but yes certainly a very close picture of what british society is all about.... foolishly violence ridden, freedom-less intellectually, and all you have as a result of that is pure violence and completely moral free society.
... this movie showed glimpses of that very well, and thats what was actually there to be noticed...
