Review of Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies (2016) by Jay W — 01 Feb 2017
Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies pleasantly leaves a mark in what has become a familiar, albeit overworked genre. Any doubts I had about this film were revoked after enjoying its 78 minutes of pure lighthearted fun that added a fresh take on the "zombie-comedy.
" Fondly nestling itself amongst favorites like Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland, Lederhosen Zombies makes nods to the classics while simultaneously retaining its own ingenuity. Imagine ski classic, Better off Dead, meshed together with Dawn of the Dead.
A group of young snowboarders shooting a video are forced to take refuge at a lone ski inn for the night, but when their fellow lodgers become infected with a zombie virus, hilarity ensues. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it next time you're looking for something fun!
