Review of Attack of the Crab Monsters (1957) by Gus S — 20 May 2008
This is perhaps Roger Corman's most clever and unique film, but it is, like all his other work, plagued by budget problems. The monsters are the best looking ones Corman's ever had, but that's not saying much.
The story is intriguing and has a lot of potential but the ending is too abrupt. If this were re-made it could expand on the good start this film had. Corman did very well with what he had.
