Review of At the Devil's Door (2014) by Geoff J — 16 Oct 2014
A young girl partakes in a game on the behest of a boy she has just met, she receives money for this but there are dark consequences. Leigh, a real estate agent, is trying to sell a house for a struggling family, she confronts a girl, believed to be the families runaway daughter, which leads to some dire consequences.
Enter Leigh's artist sister into the fray and things start getting worse. This is a eerie little possession horror film that works, the script is a little ho hum but it makes up for it in atmosphere.
Takes cues from some notable classic horror films so it's not original but I did enjoy it and it had a few good scares. Worth a viewing.
