Review of Archipelago (2011) by Kevin T — 10 Nov 2013
A bit too understated and low budget. No music, lots of static shots, and very little narrative flow. A lot of poor weather and distance shots of the characters, backlit and underexposed. The rare closeups of the main characters were notable for their rarity.
Just a tad too Cinema Verité for our taste. Eleanor was ready to give up on it after ten minutes, and fell asleep a couple of times too.
