Review of Ararat (2002) by Sarah G — 23 Jun 2007
I love Atom Egoyan's movies and this was his best because of the amount of his own history and emotion he invested it. It is a powerful movie that uses a 'film-within a film' to weave between the lives of Armenians during the genocide of 1915 and modern descendants of the diaspora.
Elian Koteas and Arsinee Khanjian give amazing performances.
