Review of Arachnophobia (1990) by Alicia K — 10 Jul 2009
The greatest spider movie ever made. It is my belief that everyone is sort of afraid of spiders, since their sole purpose is to trap things in its bodily fluids and watch it die and then eat it.
The cast is great, especially the scene stealing John Goodman as Dilbert the Exterminator. The jump scares can really get you, especially the shower scene. I have had that happen to me before. I was on the toilet and noticed a spider on the ceiling of the shower. I am glad I saw it before I went in.
A great horror thriller with no CGI and and makes it extra scary with good puppetry and real spiders.
