Review of Anton Chekhov's The Duel (2010) by John B — 19 Jun 2010
While the scenery is beautiful and the costumes and settings exquisitely of the period, there are too many characters and not enough empathy. Half way through the movie you still don't have any idea where the movie is going and worse yet you don't really care.
Fionna has to stretch to make us believe she can be this good and this "bad".
