Review of Another Country (1984) by Damien K — 10 Jul 2009
Not bad, but when I saw the DVD at the library I was hoping it was based on the novel by James Baldwin. No such luck but it surprised me to see the very young Cary Elwes, hero of "Princess Bride", in his first movie, playing a gay teenager no less.
Rupert Everett was annoying as the snobby yet typical gay man who refuses to be a responsible adult. Eventually he goes from pink triangle to "pinko" (heh- commie joke).
