An anomaly is something that deviates from what is standard, normal or expected. While that could easily describe any of Charlie Kaufman's films nothing could be more appropriate than his latest - a stop action "comedy" ultimately about loneliness.
Thought provoking, bizarre and pretty much brilliant - but likely not for everyone. I, for one, can not stop thinking about it. Hands down best animated film of the year!
