Review of Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning (2008) by Amanda C — 10 Jul 2011
While not the best, most faithful adaption of Anne, it captures some of the heart of the original tale. Any book lovers will recognize revamped scenes from the novel, and will be furious at Sullivan for creating a fictional account of Anne's father, Walter Shirley.
The movie was charming without being wonderful.
