All right, I was really anticipating for this movie to be good, or at least a little entertaining. I love Surya (well every movie he's in except after 7 Aum Arivu) and also Linguswamy. First of all, Surya was good in the movie, no negatives for him.

But other than that, this movie was boring, the romantic subplot was useless, I didn't love the fight scenes, and above all else, the twists. The twists in this movie are predictable or end up being idiotic.

The villain was not great either. I was excited to see Vidyut Jamwal in a Tamil movie again, after Thuppakki and Billa 2, however his chemistry with Surya was horrible. Also, a particular scene in the film practically denotes his character as useless and weak, though he's not supposed to be that way.

Very disappointed with this movie, and I hope Surya can once again deliver a solid film in the future - 4.8/10.
