An exemplary blend of genuine class and theatric finesse. Romantic, sentimental, and profoundly sensational are only a few words that can perfectly convey the feel of this beautiful film. The talented Peter Sarsgaard shows us what he's capable of, and lead actress Carey Mulligan proves that she, too, is well on the road to greatness.
It appears Scherfig has created one for the history books.
