Review of An American Crime (2007) by Mary P — 02 Sep 2008
Absolutely great acting and well made. It is not for the faint of heart and is not for kids. The story is riveting but at the same time I felt sick for the rest of the night. It's one of those films that you will never forget.
I'm really almost tramatized just from watching it. I don't know how Ellen Page took this project and The Tracey Fragments as well. I don't know how she could handle the emotional strain of both movies.
She is one of the best actresses in the business. I don't see an end to her potential either.
