This is a remarkable story that resonated with me on a number of different levels. Of course, my perspective is as a Black man ... I wonder how white viewers will accept the truth behind this story of a young Black woman who is truly screwed by the justice system in this small Texas town.
One thing I learned in the 'features' section of the DVD is that Xzibit's first name is "Alvin".
I highly recommend this movie to all of my FB-friends!
